Hi for sizing can you tell me your height, inseam and reach? I’m in the market for a 429 but still not sure on the frame size.

Hello Carl,
I’m 6′8″. I’m not sure on actual measurements, but for pants I generally wear a 34″ inseam (maybe closer to 33.5″) and for dress shirts I prefer a 37″ sleeve length (as in 17×37). The 429 doesn’t extend me the way I’ve seen a lot of taller people ride, which I think puts the center of gravity much too high - it gives a more “in the cockpit” feel which is nice for terrain that is moderately technical.
I am really pleased with the frame - very stiff and responsive but very plush - and with the big wheels it is about as point and shoot as an XC bike can be. It could maybe be improved if it were a 529, but I’m not sure if that is necessary.
